Man, i never would have guessed that you used a flash here. Did you mess with the lighting afterwards in ps? or did it just come out like this? Its great!!

Lovely tones in this portrait David with bounced flash being used to good effect. Excellent facial and hair details. Well taken, warm regards..Ray

...and a great success the flash was on this one! wow! love it

David Hofmann   {K:23763} 11/14/2005
thanks Corrie, the flash I used can be rotated in all directions. I pointed it at the wall, so there was no light that hit him directly. No other tricks in PS.

David Hofmann   {K:23763} 11/14/2005
thanks Dina. This was more or less a test with a flash I borrowed. I want to get two flashes that I can place anywhere in the room and they are remotely triggered by a small commander on the camera.

So it swivels all the way around at the base?(right above the mount?)Mine only tilts at the head.

Very nice David. The flash worked well here. The lighting looks very nice. I wouldn't have guessed that you used a flash on this one. Great job!

David Hofmann   {K:23763} 11/15/2005
just the head, not the entire flash. The ideal solution is a completely independent flash.

CorrieLynn Jacobsen   {K:9882} 11/15/2005
I really need to get a better flash. Im not even sure what would be compatable with my camera..the one i have now is pentax dedicated. Im not sure how many flashes there are for my camera..im going to look into it.
