About This little branch was growing out of this rock. It had a good source of water being just inches above the water in the creek.

An unusual place for a tree to start growing, Don! I like the colours of the leaves against the duller shades of the rock and water.
Dave.

When I looked at this image I really wanted to rename it, Don...I'd call it "Tenacious!" :)
These little guys will grow anywhere, won't they? Well seen!
Kathy

That would be a great title Kathy. Thanks so much. Don.

That's what you call determination, Don!
A nice twist on the autumnal theme.
Best regards, Chris

I like the composition, top half light in color and bottom half dark, it works Don.

Nice find and great capture. I, too, like the contrast between the rocks, the leaves and the water. Very simple, very effective - just goes to show you that sometimes less is more. Well done. Jan

I will go there in 100 years to lay under the shade of the colourful leaves while I soak my old feet in that water. Should grow well with that water source there but what a place to grow from. Love the textures and a nice twist to the aytumn theme leaves. Good shot Don. Cheers - Ann :)
