Hi Carsten,
again, you managed to use the wide angle very effective and artistique. the trees seem to grow together and find their way to heaven... while the crucifix and the hanging buddy go with them? Maybe just a bit over interpretated =)
best wishes, Thilo

visione singolare e ben costruita. Bella l'aria carica di nebbia alle spalel dello scenario, aggiunge un'alone di mistero...

A beautifully crafted image. An example of what digital darkroom work should be. The play of colour and light among the leaves and branches is almost three-dimensional in its effect, and the glow of light in the distance is most attractive. Hmmm. 10mm. That's what, 16mm in normal 35mm film terms? Really wide for a DSLR...

Roger, the 10-22 zoom is really nice. With 1.6 crop factor 16 mm in film terms, one of the best equirectangular super wides I know. Almost no distortion, decent sharpness and contrast. It?s mounted always on my 300D...
Cheers

Perfect for me. I love the angle and treatment of the foliage in the trees. The perspective looking up at the branches is odd in a great way -- artistic. perhaps the color dodge adjustment helped that along. It looks great in the foreground too. The mood is awesome. :)
