La curva, la salita, la fatica di arrivare ad una meta, forse un poco triste, anche i toni e la luce incupiscono la scena, ma una foto che trasferisce sensazioni. La svolta di una vita, sembrerebbe rappresentare, non so se era nel tuo intento dare questa rappresentazione, a me arriva questo.
Ottima immagine.

Hi Paolo,
I like the textures and the toning here. the mood is just very quiet - and the old man adds to that mood. maybe you've overdone the JPEG compression a bit. At least I see some loss in the picture.

I like your framing Paolo that together with the sephia tona add a vintage look of this shot! The low view point and the curved lines and street. Further more i like the details in the metal.

i do so like this. the wet reflective surface of the street, the somber general mood of the image, and the gentle curve of the line in the road guiding the eyes off into somewhere else. there is movement and tension in the photo. not sure the manhole cover contributes much.
