Great landscape shot!!! Fabulous reflections and beautiful colors, excellent composition.... well captured!!! BTW it looks at lot titled, not just a little... but if you say it isn't'.... well then it must be me... LOL!!!

Luke Luther   {K:14549} 11/19/2005
it is a beautiful horizon image. the stunning water in the foreground and the majestic guards of this nirvana in the background. great lighting. was this filter in PS or split density?

Andre Denis   {K:55922} 11/19/2005
Nice classic landscape Thilo, I like it when we see shots of great places like this with very few people around to spoil the mood. This place probably hasn't changed in thousands of years.

Hi Petal,

it's the shoreline that causes the "tilt". If you blend them out, you will see that the image is correct in the horizon ;-)

take care, Thilo

Thilo Bayer   {K:50301} 11/20/2005
Hi Luke,

it's not a special filter in PS. It's a combination of different channel mixer actions.

But I'm about to buy a polarize filter for the lens. It's just that a 77mm one is very expensive =)

Gorgeous collision! :) A perfect place for the eyes to rest ... beautiful stuff!

Carsten Ranke   {K:14453} 11/24/2005
Supernatural colors, and superwide FOV ;-) Tilt: you know the natural slope there, and decided to show it. Looks tilted to 99% of all viewers, max. 1% have been there (a guess). I mean, I would cross fingers and rotate a bit counterclockwise.

Cheers

Carsten
