About The main entrance to the left (South of site), the main central courtyard or passage, the Ladies prayer hall on the right in front and the main prayer hall with the golden dome is majestic in the morning sun. The central dome showing outer lattice work embossed in gold and covering the gold mosaic inner dome, raises to a height of about 50 ft and is a prominent landmark visible from the streets.

I thank you very much for the comment on my picture and also am very glad that you like the style (simple and straight forward). Well, i will (I want to) show you my beautiful country as well but i must say that there is little or no comparision in the beauty that you experience all accross the world in different things that we see - oh so differently. I love my profession for that very reason.. Thanks again jara. Here is the same grand mosque caught in the oakley sunglasses a friend was wearing to beat the glare...

Fantastic perspective here. You have done some research my friend.. nice story telling. Appreciate your effort as it is important to know some facts to fully appreciate architecture and monuments. Good control on the range as well.
