Thanks Bruce, I have found that my sports shots never get as many views as my girl shots. such is life ;)

Great stop action. I'm just learning sports. Do you normally shoot at f/2.8? Does this cause any DOF problems? Obviously it worked great for this fantastic image!

Hi Ray, 2.8 is the best for sports. It helps to keep the background out of focus so that the players pop out more. It does take some practice getting the DOF in the right place to keep the players sharp. Remember film is cheap (if you still use it) and CF cards are reusable. Just shoot and then when you think you have shot enough, shoot more.
