About Brrrrrr!

An ice shot, I thought. (Say it fast and you'll get the pun! There had to be one in there somewhere!)

I think the spider that built this one must have too much of the old Diamond Ice before he got started!! :o)

Best regards to all,

Chris

Nigel Watts   {K:10748} 11/22/2005
Great photograph, that must be one very cold spider too. Have the vision in my brain of a spider in a colourful striped jumper with a car windscreen scraper waiting to jump into the shot.
Nigel

What an awesome Photo Chris! Well taken and presented!

Great shot Chris, really different.

Lori ;)

With the weight of all that ice, I would have expected the web to collapse. Creation is truly amazing, isn't it? Great photo showing the texture and patterns. Rodney

The spider will also get pretty hungry waiting for a fly to blunder into this! Nice pattern, Chris. It looks as if you didn't get my E-mail so I'll resend it today (National Holiday in Japan).

Kathy Hillard   {K:25721} 11/24/2005
Susie and I were just talking today about putting some sort of a shot of the two of us in the new establishment on UF! You're right, we have been pretty busy. A week from tomorrow is our opening. Did you call it a pinnie? What in the world is that???

Chris Spracklen   {K:32552} 11/24/2005
A 'pinnie' is a common English expression for an apron, Kathy. It's a shortened form of 'pinafore', which the Oxford Dictionary describes as a: "woman's loose, sleeveless garment, typically full length and worn over clothes to keep them clean."! )
Best regards, Chris

Another fascinating spiders' weave Chris. This is the way to pick out their designs when a drop of frost settles..one of the very few bonuses from Winter. Best wishes to you....Ray
