About Here's another fisheye that I think captures the atmosphere of these traditional "fast food" shops. Bright, cheerful assistants, delicious snacks, and dark, shadowy rooms where the food is made. I think only film could have given me the dynamic range to capture some shadow details while not blanking out the highlights. I decided to leave the fisheye distortion uncorrected. Maybe I'm getting used to it, but it doesn't look so unnatural here...

It gives a nice curve to the composition that makes you want to 'go round the corner' to see what is there. great colours and details

I agree with you Roger, the fisheye has actually given more to the atmosphere of this kind of shot than a more conventional longer prime could have done. Love the colours and details of this shot. Well done to you and all the best..Ray

Excellent use of the fisheye, Roger.
Great shot with a very effective upper lead-in line.
Best regards, Chris
P.S. Many thanks for your e-mail. Needless to say, you are in my thoughts at this time.

I did not notice the f.e.e. until I read your commentary. Maybe I need to wake up more before comeenting on images today! The sales lady's smile punches through even if she is a small part of the image. Good job, - JB

Well I wrote a nice long comment and it vanished. So I will play it safe and just wish you a merry Christmas.

Oh dear! This is one of my more neglected photos and it would have been so nice to get the original comment from you! I hope the various Usefilm troubles are just teething problems for the new, upgraded hardware and the new features we are all awaiting so eagerly. Thanks for the Christmas greetings. Today (Sunday) we started singing carols, so I guess it's getting really close. You have a good one, too!
