strong composition and great reflection! G.

Linda Bique   {K:73886} 11/26/2005
Beautiful silhouette and lighting, nice reflection and natural framing of the reflection. I like that you can see her whole body in the reflection, I always find that an interesting aspect of reflections. And as always your tones are very rich and very good. Great work Thilo.

karen clarke   {K:18847} 11/27/2005
I really like how in the reflection you can see the arms and upper body unlike in the upper part-like two different personalities in one image. I love the tones too, a favorite~

Stefan Engström   {K:24473} 11/27/2005
Just the right mix of reflection and "reality" here. Nice curve dividing the two.

Paolo Corradini   {K:50745} 11/27/2005

An excellent work my friend!
Greetings.

Are we but mere reflections of ourselves? Which is the real one. Narcissus drowned while gazing upon his own image. While we think that he suffered, he may have experienced a new level of insight. This image really provoked me into thought. Thanks!

NN     {K:26787} 11/27/2005
Perfect composition, light & tones; very good title :)

Andre Denis   {K:55940} 11/27/2005
Hi Thilo,
I especially like the toning in this photo. Another thing, the reflection is so crystal clear that it appears more real than the upper half of the image... if that makes any sense.
I think that is a good thing in this case because I'm sure you intended the reflection to be the focal point.
Andre

Dear Thilo,

Looks like we have a very fine piece here which took awhile to get noticed from the other day when I was too lazy to comment also as others ... my apologies indeed, but it is a great and creative finalized image.

Thanks for sharing ALL your great work with ALL of us always!

Best of Regards!

P.S. I think a 5.8 overall is a bit too low so let's see if my real seven(s) which are not handed out so easily helps you rightfully ...

Todd Miller   {K:16464} 11/27/2005
another great shot Thilo....this one goes well with your recent Holocaust Museum shot.

Carlheinz Bayer   {K:14220} 11/28/2005

Hi Douglas,

well thanks for the kind words. I mean, this is Usefilm. Sharing is the deal =)

As for the numbers... As I have given up to understand them, don't worry. All may images get 5.x, and I don't care (anymore). Okay, this one has a 6 at the moment, but wait some days and it goes below that =)

best wishes,
Thilo

Paul's Photos   {K:34954} 11/28/2005
