You have balanced very well exposure in my honest opinion,and it did not have to be easy,speaking in analog terms(and above all with Velvia film......).

A stunning image Barry. The stream draws me into the scene and takes me to the house. The plume of steam emitting from the house is sweet and the clarity ihere is so wonderful to allow for such details. The tree is a grand focal point and the branches makes lovely frame for the foreground. The lighting has allowed for gorgeous soft colours. You've put a lot of thought into this shot and it's paid off well with a beautiful image. A pleasure to view.

Beautiful composition and colors. You inspire and challenge me to give more thought to my photographs as I take them. Superb composition and in-camera work. The only thing I would try out with the slide is another scan, with lighter tones, for a composite with a bit dodging selectively for the branches and foliage of the tree (because the distant trees show nice detail in the shadows, too)
