This is excellent great details the B&W gives it so much definition. A weed is a flower that grows in the wrong place. It's strange we equate weed with ugliness, this proves that way of thinking is all wrong. Well done Petal.

Wonderful DOF and highlights. I love the way the sharpness of the little "stars" contrasts with the softness of the main background "star".
AJ
PS. Did you see my www.usefilm.com/image/849056.html ? Similar image but your DOF is FAR better!

Hi Petal,
good one for the project! I like the near high key look here. millions of stars caged into a flower. I mean, this IS flower power at its' best ;-)
good BW conversion as well.
best wishes, Thilo

Ah one of my favourite weeds Petal :-)
This is an excellent crisp and clear shot of the dandelion seed head - one of the best I've seen for a while! Good conversion to black and white too!
Thanks for the comment on Paths too - and you are right the path does 'twist' to the right at the top. If you look at the wall on the right you can see how steeply inclined it is too, hence the reason for the raised bricks...
