Quite a beautiful photo-composite, Ina - the rich golden colors go so wonderfully with the fall trees background as well as with the nostalgic mood! Great job blending seemingly incongruous elements into a scene that works very well! One very small nit - I believe that's a mandolin she's holding... :)

Tracey Main   {K:7294} 12/1/2005
A beautiful dedication Ina he will love this as it is great work again, I think one of my favorites out of these posts regards Tracey..

Ina Nicolae   {K:44481} 12/1/2005
Thank you Dirck for your comment, I shall change the title!

Fabio Keiner   {K:42917} 12/1/2005
but way too much for one poor picture? what has the lute player to do wiuth brueghel's tower? or the horse with both of them?
:))

Ina Nicolae   {K:44481} 12/1/2005
Thanks Tracey :)

Ina Nicolae   {K:44481} 12/1/2005
Fabio, it is my impression of a medieval scene.

Michael Fox   {K:3180} 12/1/2005

Neal Nye   {K:15827} 12/2/2005
Thank you Ina, I really like this. While the building of the tower may have may have made communicatin difficult, music remains a universal language. And just like you, this musician can charm anyone, even horses. One just has to smile at this! Thank you again.

Ina Nicolae   {K:44481} 12/2/2005
Thank you Neal for your lovely thoughts and interpretations, I think you should just smile at it, but I love the idea of music remaining a universal language! Indeed, that is so true! I don't think I could have put it any better myself, you have a very creative mind!

Magnus Beierlein   {K:1490} 12/2/2005

Mark Beltran   {K:32612} 12/2/2005
I'm reminded of Greek mythology and Steinbeck's short novels in The Long Valley. If they only took the time to illustrate some of those books, it should look like this.

Ina Nicolae   {K:44481} 12/2/2005
Thank you so much Mark! I've always wanted to illustrate books - I love Gustave Dore - very much appreciate your remarks :)

Roland Lacson   {K:12214} 12/2/2005
Artsy indeed, excellent editing, the result speaks for itself. Thank you so much for the comments to my images Ina, best wishes.

Hi Ina! At first I didn?t notice the tower at all :) Anyway, love the mood you created here, as well as the colours. Always great to see what you come up with! *hugs*

Gabriela Tanaka   {K:17991} 12/2/2005
This looks like a tapestry! It made me think of "The Lady and the Unicorn" - the tapestries at Cluny,in Paris.they are among my favourites. The horse really looks like an apparition! An atmosphere of magic prevails. I believe Neal is going to love it!

Hi Gabriela, you are absolutely right on the tapestry! That was exactly my thought as I was working on it! Great comment, and very much to the point! Love, Ina

Same as before. I guess by now you have enough material for a definitive individual exhibition. Do you ever try to print out your pics? Gyuri

Ina Nicolae   {K:44481} 12/4/2005
Hi Gyuri, and no, I never print my pictures. I wouldn't know what to do with them! I may try to do some in a smaller format, for Christmas presents!
