About: I was born in Kolkata(Calcutta),India & live in Los Angeles.I loved visual arts & photography since school days ut my demanding full-time faculty position for decades does not allow much time for it. My work requires global travel and brings me to fascinating people, places, colors and events; I try to "shoot" what attracts me and is possible. As Tagore stated, art gives us the "freedom to be useless"; I intend to seek that freedom. I need and intend to spend more time and hope to enhance my phography with helpful feedback form others.
