About: I've owned and operated a "Wild Bird Center" in Southern Maryland for the past 14 years and have been facinated by wild birds and related wildlife. My passion has been rescuing raptors such as eagles, hawks, herons, owls and other birds of prey. I'm getting too old for that activity now but it was a unique endeavor with special memories that relatively few people have experienced.
Being a amateur photographer among such accomplished photographers in this arena is a daunting experience for me.
