About: I enjoy nature and have lots of opportunities to photograph my experiences while hiking. I have been basically a point and shoot photographer all my life because I simply couldn't understand the technical aspects of manual 35mm SLR photography. Finally, I think I am "getting it" and wish to explore the creative and technical sides in more depth. I welcome any feedback or suggestions and look forward to sharing photos and ideas with everyone here.
