About: I see, I shoot, I capture light,..... I learn. Sometimes digital sometimes film but always through Pshop. I view and comment on works that speak to me on some level. Some of you have entire portfolios that are wonderful and I will visit often. Its not my mission to spam, swap points, teach, or write "conforming" critiques. LOL. It is my mission to view and comment on what I consider quality work and be honest in my opinion. If I comment on your work chances are you are beyond being told you have a "blown highlight" or it should be "sharper". I like rational photo sites, rational photographers, and edgy and sometimes irrational photos.
I dont care much for post card shots and usually find "technicly perfect shots" by Kodak 101 standards boring. I like b&w, high contrast, dark, blurr, manipulation, abstracts, and in general work that shows interpretation of a subject or scene through the photographers eyes.
I dont take myself,or internet photo sites,too seriously. Im not impressed with points but am impressed with the outstanding work presented here. I am serious about photography, learning by observation (our eyes are the best teacher), experimentation, (you can learn more by doing than all the critiques in the world), and above all........ having fun.:) Thanks for visiting.
