I started photography on a regular basis in January 2008. I tried with my Sony camcorder first. The image quality was disappointing. My kind colleagues gave their point n shoot's to me. I tried with those as well. It was better but still.... My photographer friends told me the only thing I needed was a DSLR. I've got a Digital Rebel XT now.
