About: I was born and raised in Malawi, Africa, where the scenery is right outside my doorstep, beauty was not difficult to find. But when I came to the Netherlands in 1999, I had to teach myself to look for asthethic subjects to photograph, I tought me how to see things in a different way.
My grandfather pursued photography as a hobby, his creativity inspired me greatly. My first camera was even one of his (an old Konica TC). I used it until not so long ago, when I bought an EOS 300. Soon after I stumbled upon this amazing offer made by a sports photographer, an EOS d2000 (or Kodak DCS520), a camera built like a tank and weighing as much. It was one of the first professional digital SLRs. Since then, my experience with photography has taken a life of its own.
After some years of study I went to South Africa for my last year. In 2006 I managed to get to the most spectacular hidden places of South Africa. You can get to see them on my site. I now shoot with an EOS 10D.
